2 Year Warranty & Core Rider Replacement

Prospect offers a two-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects on our snowboard purchased at full retail price.  Snowboards purchased at a discount, in a package, or through any other discounting program carry a one year warranty. This warranty is for the original owner of the equipment and does not include abuse or normal wear and tear. The original sales receipt is required for any warranty 

Core Rider Replacement Coverage

Core Rider Replacement (C.R.R.)  gives you coverage even if your snowboard or longboard isn’t covered by warranty.  The guys at Prospect believe in making killer products and we want to support your riding progression.  Taking it to the next level should be rewarded, not punished.  Therefore, if your warranty claim is not coverable and is within the warranty period, we will provide you with a deck at our zero profit price.  …Because if you put down your guts and glory on a Prospect board, we’ve got your back.

We’re not putting limits on how many CRRs you can do, the coverage just expires when your original warranty expires.

What is Covered?

-Structural cracks and Lamination failure on fiberglass top sheet, base, core, edge, sidewall and inserts not resulting form impact.
-Improperly aligned insert pattern
-Spinning or stripped inserts. This does not cover improper binding mounting or cross threading.

What isn’t Covered?

Any problem resulting from misuse, abuse, impact or neglect
Damage caused by any board modifications, including altering or defacing the serial number.
Cosmetic issues including discolored graphics, top sheet dents or chips, edge oxidation.
Base dimples in binding insert area.
Board damage resulting from improper mounting of bindings or the use of incorrect mounting hardware.

What happens when I send in my board for warranty?

You can either send in your board from your local Prospect dealer or mail it yourself. Be sure to include the original sales receipt, your name, address, and a phone or email if we need to contact you.

When we receive your snowboard or longboard we first check to see if we can repair it and to see if it is under warranty.  If the board is covered under warranty we either repair it or replace it and ship it back to you for free.

If your board cannot be covered under warranty or the warranty is expired we’ll repair it if possible and contact you about shipping it back to you.
